Former Wellsville man charged with 8 counts of production, distribution of child pornography
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A former Allegany County man was charged with seven counts of child pornography production and one count of child pornography distribution, the United States District Attorney’s Office announced.
Officials said between June 2020 and December 2021, Jason Goodsell, 39, and formerly of Wellsville, allegedly coerced a minor victim to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing a visual depiction of the conduct.
Goodsell also allegedly distributed images, which he produced, of child pornography in June 2022.
He was arraigned Wednesday afternoon and faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 225 years.
