Former Keshena man convicted of distributing drugs in tribal communities sentenced to prison
(WFRV) – A man who was caught selling drugs to an undercover agent in Keshena was sentenced to prison on July 8.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office, 42-year-old Charles Parham was sentenced to prison after he was convicted of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Parham was reportedly a former resident of Keshena and Wausau.
The release says that Parham was sentenced to 144 months (12 years) in prison. The sentence was completed on July 8 by Senior United States District Judge William Griesbach.

Parham reportedly pled guilty on April 10. After his prison sentence, he will have eight years on supervised release.
Court records reportedly show on September 29 an undercover agent bought under five grams of heroin from Parham at a location in Keshena. Officials say that Parham was under investigation for selling controlled substances in the Wausau area.
The undercover officer and Parham later agreed to meet at a casino in Shawano County for another alleged drug deal. However, Parham was stopped by law enforcement and was arrested when he got to the casino.
A plastic baggy with over 40 grams of fentanyl was reportedly recovered. Parham’s booking information shows that he has other aliases including ‘Red Parham’.
