Former Canisius student pleads guilty to making threat of mass harm against university
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo teen pleaded guilty to making a threat of mass harm Tuesday morning after making a threatening post toward Canisius University over the summer, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Wyatt Losi, 18, made a post that was “threatening in nature” on Snapchat the morning of Aug. 22, officials said. He was a Canisius student at the time.
Losi was offered a plea to the reduced charge with the consent of the victim. He faces a maximum of 90 days in jail when he is sentenced in March and was released on his own recognizance.
A temporary stay away order of protection remains in effect.
