First trailer for Emily in Paris star's new true-crime movie
Prime Video has released the first trailer for new true-crime movie Freedom, starring Emily in Paris actor Lucas Bravo, ahead of its release later this year.
Directed by Mélanie Laurent, the film is inspired by the real-life story of French robber Bruno Sulak, played by Bravo. It will premiere on the streaming service on November 1.
"Inspired by the exploits of a legendary outlaw in France in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Freedom follows the electrifying story of Bruno Sulak, a suave and daring criminal who stole hearts alongside riches," reads the official synopsis for the film.

"Known for his charm and finesse, Sulak masterminded daring heists without firing a single shot," the logline continues.
But as Sulak's infamy grew, so did the relentless pursuit of George Moréas (Yvan Attal), a tenacious police commissioner with a knack for outsmarting criminals.
"As Moréas closes in, Sulak's escapes from prison become legendary, fuelled by a lust for freedom, and a burning desire for his lover Annie (Léa Luce Busato)," the synopsis adds.
"Amidst the chaos of their criminal spree, Sulak and Annie become the ultimate symbols of defiance in the most exhilarating game of cat and mouse that gripped the nation."

The exhilarating trailer sees Bravo's character Bruno enter a supermarket with a gun, while his lover Annie waits in the car park.
"Ladies and gentleman, don't move, this is a hold up," he shouts to a group of terrified customers. "Stay calm and no harm will come to you, if you do as I say."
After completing dozens of hold ups in the area, Bruno becomes known to the police and is featured on the news – but he successfully remains hidden.
"We're stealing from bigger thieves than us," he says to his partner, before Annie describes him as a Robin Hood of sorts.

Later, the police continue their search for the outlaw, with commissioner Moréas revealing: "You know that all the cops and friends are looking for you. We're going to catch you guys in a week, in a month, a year."
"I don't really like my hand being forced by anyone," replies Bruno, before admitting that he's "free" after choosing a life of crime.
Freedom marks Laurent's sixth movie as a director, with the filmmaker also co-writing the script with her writing partner Chris Deslandes. The film also stars Rasha Bukvic, Steve Tientcheu, David Murgia, Léo Chalié and Slimane Dazi.
As for Bravo, the actor recently reprised his role as Gabriel in the fourth chapter of Netflix's Emily in Paris. The series has now been renewed for a fifth season.
Freedom will premiere on Prime Video on November 1.
