Fire causes $60K in damage to Buffalo home, displaces 1
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fire that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Buffalo caused an estimated total of $60,000 in damage to a home and displaced one person, a city spokesperson announced.
Crews responded just after 2 p.m. to 328 Doat St., where a fire started in the kitchen on the first floor’s back side, officials said.
The fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damage to the residence’s structure and $20,000 to its contents. The American Red Cross was asked to help the adult who was displaced.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
