Fayetteville High School staff member placed on leave following online accusations

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (WHNT) – A staff member at Fayetteville High School has been placed on leave following an accusation that was made online, according to the school system.

On Monday, the Fayetteville City Schools posted a release to their social media stating that, following some accusations that were made online, one of their educators had been placed on administrative leave pending the conclusion of an investigation.

Students, families and community members can be assured that the safety and well-being of our students is of paramount importance. Our Director of Schools and administrators are following the policies and procedures of the Fayetteville City School System to ensure we obtain a complete understanding of the situation and that any subsequent determinations will be made in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee.
