El Paso County opens cooling centers
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – El Paso County is opening its community centers as cooling centers beginning Saturday, June 15 with an anticipated end date of August 15 in preparation for the “hot summer months.”
The County said the cooling centers will provide an indoor air-conditioned environment for residents to visit and cool down throughout the day.
The following cooling centers are available every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Saturday:
Agua Dulce Community Center – 15371 Kentwood Ave., Horizon City, Texas.
Fabens Community Center – 201 NW Camp St., Fabens, Texas.
Canutillo Community Center – 7351 Bosque Rd., Canutillo, Texas.
