Eastern Hills Mall DMV to close due to lack of heat
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Department of Motor Vehicles at the Eastern Hills Mall will be closed Tuesday until further notice due to a heating issue, Erie County Clerk Michael Kearns said in a release.
“The temperature in the office was 58 degrees on Saturday and the environment is too cold for the staff to work in, as well as for our patrons,” he said. “We apologize for the inconvenience. We are working with mall management to get the heating issue resolved as soon as possible.”
The DMV will be back open once the heat is restored. Anyone who already has an appointment in Williamsville can go to any other Erie County Auto Bureau Branch at the same day and time and their appointment will be honored.
The DMV at the Southgate Plaza in West Seneca will be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. beginning Dec. 21 until heat is restored in Williamsville.
