Former President Donald Trump is planning another campaign stop in the Philadelphia suburbs, this time at a McDonald’s in Lower Southampton in Bucks County on Sunday, according to sources familiar with the visit.
The 2024 presidential candidate plans to stop at the fast food chain on 334 E. Street Road in the early afternoon, according to a source who did not have permission to publicly comment.

Rumors of Trump’s weekend began cropping up earlier this week, including a tweet from CNN. Levittown Now reported the visit earlier Thursday.
The visit comes less than a week after Trump, the Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential election, visited Montgomery County and several days after his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, held an event for more than 100 Republican voters at Washington Crossing Historic State Park in Upper Makefield.
Trump’s campaign event website shows he is scheduled to be in Lancaster for a town hall event at 5 p.m. on Sunday as well.
An email request to Trump’s campaign for confirmation on the planned Bucks County stop was not immediately returned Thursday afternoon.

Trump reportedly plans to “work the fryer” behind the counter, a stop he referenced at a rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania, late last month — a job Harris said she had when she was growing up.
The McDonald’s in Bucks County is located just over four miles from the Trump Store at 2060 Street Road in Bensalem. The Trump Store has exclusively sold Trump-related merchandise since it opened in February 2020. There have been no reports that the candidate will visit the store Sunday.
The McDonald's stop would be the latest in the increased focus the two major party candidates on the Nov. 5 ballot have placed on the Philadelphia suburbs and Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Bucks County is the narrowest of the swing counties in southeastern Pennsylvania and, apart from Luzerne County, has the smallest divide between Republicans and Democrats as a percent of total voters. Pennsylvania is critical to the 2024 election with its 19 electoral votes.
Out of 486,740 voters in Bucks County, Republicans make up about 41.6% of voters while Democrats make up about 41% of voters. Democrats lost their voter advantage over the GOP for the first time in at least a decade in July. Luzerne County has Republicans leading by just 0.46%.
While Trump hasn’t managed to win Bucks County in either of the last two presidential elections — Clinton took the county 48.7 to 47.6 and Biden won with a four-point lead at 51% of the vote — he does have a strong following of supporters.
This is the second time Trump has planned to visit Bucks County in almost as many months.
Rumors of a visit to Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown on Sept. 22 were hinging on issues around security, but that stop was eventually canceled the Friday before that Sunday’s visit.
Trump last visited Bucks County in April for a private fundraiser at the Newtown Athletic Center. He was greeted by supporters with a rally on the way to the NAC. The former president was expected to return for another event somewhere in Bucks County around October.
