Doctor Who season 15 casts Good Wife star Archie Panjabi
The Good Wife star Archie Panjabi is joining the cast of Doctor Who.
According to Deadline, Panjabi has been cast as a villain in the hit sci-fi show's upcoming 15th season, where she'll star alongside Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson and new companion Varada Sethu.
However, further details about the actor's character remain under wraps for the time being. The BBC has not commented on her casting.

Panjabi is perhaps best known for playing Kalinda Sharma across six seasons of The Good Wife, which earned her three Emmy nominations including her first win in 2010 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
The actor most recently starred in Apple TV+ series Hijack alongside Idris Elba, as well Hulu's Under the Bridge opposite Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough.
Earlier this month, it was announced that former Coronation Street star Charlie Condou has also joined the cast of Doctor Who in an undisclosed role.
Condou played sonographer Marcus Dent on the ITV soap between 2007 and 2014, before going on to star in Holby City as surgeon Ben Sherwood between 2019 and 2020.

Also set to appear in Doctor Who's upcoming season is The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Little Mermaid star Jonah Hauer-King.
Millie Gibson confirmed the news last month while discussing her character Ruby's journey in season 15, telling Collider: "It's the rare case where you see the companion after The Doctor. It's never been explored before, and I think it's such a beautiful and clever thing to do. Can you imagine traveling the world with The Doctor and then seeing how they cope with it after when your life just goes back to normal? It was the weirdest feeling.
"I'm joined by the beautiful Jonah Hauer-King on her journey. He's a very, very interesting character, and he makes the show even more magical. So, I'm very excited to see what he's like."
Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and Disney+ elsewhere. Classic episodes of Doctor Who are available on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
