Dan Walker supports Matt Goss on 'Strictly' after low scores
Dan Walker is backing Matt Goss on Strictly Come Dancing after the Bros singer had a string of low scores from the judges.
Walker, who competed on the dance competition in 2021, shared the same professional dancer as Goss in Nadiya Bychkova.
Appearing on This Morning, Walker opened up about his time on Strictly and threw his support behind Goss and Bychkova.
Addressing their hopes of going far in the competition, Walker said he wants them to "stay in as long as possible".
Walker also praised Bychkova for teaching him how to dance: "I don’t want to get too deep and meaningful but it was like learning a new language."
Walker added that while he was enjoying watching the current series, he had no desire to return to put on the sequins saying he had "reached the top of the mountain and enjoyed the view".

Goss' friends have also been critical of the scores the pop legend has been receiving from the judges.
Speaking to The Mirror, Rob Ferguson said: "There is no consistency and no correlation between comments versus votes. I’m losing my faith in the legitimacy of BBC’s Strictly."
Ferguson then singled out Craig Revel Horwood for his particularly harsh scores: "I cannot reconcile Craig’s descending score for Matt from week one – 5, 4, 3. There’s no question he has improved."
Though receiving low scores, Goss has made it through the first two weeks of elimination with Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams and BBC radio host Richie Anderson being the first celebrities to depart the show.
Britain's Got Talent finalist and Nova Jones star Molly Rainford is atop the leaderboard after three weeks of dancing with former Arsenal and England captain Tony Adams currently in last place.
