According to weather lore, the alignment of the gravitational pull of the Sun with the centre of the Earth will make it easier to balance any object. That doesn't mean you should be bringing out the tightrope and slackline to practice your balance just yet, though.
Turns out it’s all just a myth! In the end, it comes down to the surface you're trying to balance your egg on and the shape of the egg; gravitational pull has nothing to do with it.
You can successfully balance an egg any day of the year, so long as you have a flat, level surface and the right-shaped egg.
