"BTS Directing Ep 603 @cobrakaiseries on @netflix - A major highlight for me on this journey!" he began, with the post also including various photos of the cast behind the scenes. "I'm so immensely proud of my amazing cast, crew and stunt team!

Macchio isn't the only cast member to praise his co-stars, with William Zabka recently explaining exclusively to Digital Spy that the success was a team effort, saying: "I think we've put on an amazing show that we're excited for the world to see.

"It started to get nostalgic, and somewhat sad, and emotional. In the end, I think we did it. I think we all feel like we stuck the landing. There's a satisfaction in completing that work and then a bitter sweetness of it being the end of the story."

Cobra Kai streams on Netflix. Season 6 part 2 begins on November 15, with part 3 following in 2025.
