Cleburne County deputy arrested for alleged child solicitation in Faulkner County

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ark. – A Cleburne County deputy was arrested Saturday in Faulkner County for alleged solicitation of a minor for sex.

According to investigators, the deputy, 37-year-old Jacob Teel was arrested early Saturday morning and is now facing one count of internet stalking of a child and one count of traveling for the purposes of an unlawful sex act with a child.

The arrest came as part of Operation Room Service, a collaboration with the United States Marshal Service, Covenant Rescue Group.

In addition to Teel, officials announced the arrest of 8 other men who are also facing a variety of charges including internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of an unlawful sex act with a minor, sexual indecency with a child.

The men arrested as part of Operation Room Service include:

Jacob Teel, 37, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class B Felony) and Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony).

Joey Le, 34, a registered Level 3 Sex Offender, is currently charged with 2 counts of Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), 2 counts of Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & 2 counts of Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Joseph Capps, 53, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Caleb Higdon, 28, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Easton Squirres, 22, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Damarv Cummings, 45, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Jeremy Curtiss, 24, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Alton Sprague, 71, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).

Phillip Engle, 52, is currently charged with Internet Stalking of a Child (Class Y Felony), Traveling for the Purpose of an Unlawful Sex Act with a Minor (Class B Felony), & Sexual Indecency with a Child (Class D Felony).
