‘Castle’ once owned by former ‘American Idol’ judge lists in California. Take a look
A remarkable house with a cool history and royal design has landed on the real estate market in Studio City, California, for $8.89 million.
The estate, which has “a unique castle-style” design, was once owned by songwriter and former judge on “American Idol” Kara DioGuardi, a news release said. But two things stick out a little more than its famous background:
The absolutely smashing interior along with a placement that overlooks Los Angeles.
“Apart from the impeccable design, vaulted ceilings, 23-foot stone fireplace and more, the home is situated on over three acres of lush grounds in the most desirable part of Studio City, with 360-degree views,” listing agent Geoffrey Frid said in a news release.
Inside the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom estate is a feast for the eyes with dark hardwood flooring, grand chandeliers, a sweeping staircase and so much more including:
Grand foyer
Open-concept floorplan
Chef’s kitchen
Bonus room
Outside, it’s just as remarkable with:
Swimming pool
Spa
Gardens
“An ode to elegance and solitude, this residence offers unrivaled panoramic views that stretch to the horizon, while ensuring the utmost privacy,” the listing on Compass says.
DioGuardi is an 11-time Grammy nominee and CEO of Arthouse Entertainment Publishing and Records. She was featured as a judge on Seasons 8 and 9 of “Idol.”
