Buffalo man arrested, charged with rape
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested and charged with two counts of rape Tuesday following an alleged assault on Donovan Drive last year, the Buffalo Police Department announced.
Officers responded to a rape call on the 200 block of Donovan Drive on March 1, 2024. It is alleged that 29-year-old Laquan Freeman raped and choked a female victim while two children were in the apartment.
Freeman is also being investigated in connection with other sexual assault allegations.
He was charged with the following:
two counts, first-degree rape
criminal sexual act
third-degree criminal sexual act
two counts, endangering the welfare of a child
