Buffalo man arrested, accused of shooting victim on Elmwood Avenue
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was arrested after he allegedly shot a victim late Saturday night on Elmwood Avenue, police officials announced.
Police said 39-year-old Vincent Foster allegedly shot a 28-year-old Buffalo male around 11:45 p.m. on the 100 block of Elmwood. The victim told police he was outside when he was allegedly struck by gunfire in the arm.
The male victim was treated and released from ECMC.
An investigation was conducted in the overnight hours that resulted in the arrest of Foster, who was charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
