Britain's Got Talent confirms return date
ITV has confirmed a release date for Britain's Got Talent 2024 - and fans don't have long to wait.
The long-running TV talent show will return to screens on Saturday, April 20, airing at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli return to the judging panel to seek out the best live acts across Britain, crowning one of them this year's champion.

Last year, comedian Viggo Venn emerged victorious, taking home the £250,000 cash prize and earning a coveted performance slot at the Royal Variety Show.
Venn beat off competition from 10 other acts, with dancer Lillianna Clifton coming runner-up and magician Cillian O'Connor finishing third.
Appearing on Lorraine two days after his win, Venn defended the result amid some criticism from viewers on social media and boos heard from audience members during the live final when he was announced as the winner.
"It's not my fault I won. It's the British public," he said. "I was kind of hoping I didn't win because it would be so embarrassing, but I was very happy when they said it. The British public have such [a] sense of ridiculous humour."

Susan Boyle also made a return to the show in 2023, performing her original audition song 'I Dreamed a Dream' in the grand final.
On X (formerly Twitter) this week, Britain's Got Talent said it would share never-before-seen footage of the opera star on Thursday to mark 15 years to the day that Boyle gave her first audition.
Boyle finished runner-up on the 2009 show, narrowly losing out to dance group Diversity.
Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV on April 20.
