Bridgerton's Simone Ashley joins Emilia Clarke in Christmas movie
Bridgerton's Simone Ashley and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke have teamed up for a new Christmas movie.
Variety reports that the duo, alongside the Has Fallen trilogy star Gerard Butler, have signed on for The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, an animated adaptation of Carys Bexington and Kate Hindley's bestselling book.
As the name implies, the story is a crossover between 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and Alice in Wonderland.

The official synopsis reads: "The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland is full of fun and festive twists. This time, it's St Nick's turn for an adventure down the rabbit hole.
"There he meets the Mad Hatter, recast as a high-fashion, reindeer-loving tea party host; the White Rabbit, an endearingly scatty and forgetful character; the Queen of Hearts, a Scrooge-esque tinsel-hater, her antagonistic sidekick, the Cheshire Cat and Alice herself, whose kindness helps St Nick save Christmas."
St Nick will be voiced by Butler, Alice will be voiced by Ashley, while Clarke lends her voice to the Queen of Hearts, having previously fronted the modern festive favourite Last Christmas.
The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse's Peter Baynton is directing, legendary songwriter Guy Chambers is in charge of the music, while Amy Wadge and Sara Daddy are writing the lyrics and dialogue (both said to be all in rhyming couplets), respectively.
