Delaney wins four-way primary for Brevard County Commission District 1 2024 election results
The polls have closed on the Brevard County Commission District 1 primary with conservative activist Katie Delaney winning by a healthy margin
Delaney bested Titusville Mayor Dan Diesel and former Titusville city councilman and School Board member Robert Jordan, along with Mims community activist Dwight Seigler.
District 1 includes North Brevard, including Cocoa, Port St. John, Titusville and Mims.
Incumbent Rita Pritchett, leaving her seat behind after reaching the limit of two terms, ran and lost a race position of Brevard County Tax Collector against Lisa Cullen.
What's next in District 1 County Commission race?
Delaney will face a Democrat, former Keep Brevard Beautiful Executive Director Bryan Bobbitt, and a Libertarian candidate, activist and former Titusville City Council candidate Nathan Slusher, in the Nov. 5 general election.
The current salary of county commissioners is $60,272.98.

Delaney: 5,514 (47.3%)
Diesel: 3,696 (31.7%)
Jordan: 2,109 (18.1%)
Seigler: 342 (2.9%)
