Back-to-back fires at Howlett St. house
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo Fire Department responded to two separate fires three hours apart at 46 Howlett St. on Saturday night, according to a spokesman for the City of Buffalo.
The Buffalo Fire Department responded to the first fire at 5:17 p.m., which caused an estimated $80,000 in damages. It responded to a second fire at 8:20 p.m., which caused an additional $80,000 in estimated damages.
The American Red Cross is assisting one displaced adult, and a demolition has been requested due to the extent of the damage. The cause of both fires is under investigation.
