Associated Bank Foundation donates $300K to Bellin, provide Green Bay residents accessible healthcare
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Associated Bank Foundation has recently invested in healthcare by donating $300,000 to the Bellin Health Foundation.
Officials say that the funds will be used to help provide accessible healthcare to local families and for the construction of the Bellin Children and Adolescent Center.
Nearly half of the donation will benefit students. The new facility being built along Ashland Avenue in Ashwaubenon will allow families to receive healthcare and mental services without leaving the area.
“We really want this facility to provide all kids in this region equally, with opportunity for better health, better health care through the partnership and bringing it closer to home eases the way,” explained Chris Woleske executive vice president of Bellin Health System.
The facility is expected to open next Summer.
