9 children among 11 people displaced by fire on Jones Street
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Nearly a dozen people have been displaced by a fire on Jones Street in Buffalo on Tuesday morning.
The fire happened on Jones near Franczyk Park around 6:30 a.m. Of the 11 people displaced, nine of them are children.
The blaze began on the second floor of the home, and slick conditions were a challenge in putting it out. One firefighter was hurt.
Damages have been estimated at a total of $170,000.
