$70K in damages estimated from Clarence fire
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Around $70,000 in damages were estimated from a fire on Lapp Road in Clarence late Thursday night, fire officials said.
Crews responded to 9401 Lapp around 10:50 p.m. Thursday. The blaze started underneath the chimney and traveled to the first floor. When crews arrived, there was fire in the walls of the basement and an active fire in the chimney.
The fire was knocked down by just after 11:20 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries.
