I-57 hit and run accident leaves car in ditch, ISP investigating
PESOTUM, Ill. (WCIA) — First responders were on the scene at a hit-and-run crash on I-57 northbound this morning.
Illinois State Police said they responded to a two-car hit-and-run crash at milepost 220, near Pesotum around 7 a.m. According to police, a black passenger car left the scene after a red Tesla left the roadway and became disabled. No injuries were reported on scene.
Additional first responders were also on-scene including the Savoy Fire Department.

The crash is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
