In what police are calling a quadruple murder and suicide case, at least five people are dead, including two juveniles, following shootings at two homes in Minnesota.
The Duluth Police Department reported officers responded to a home on Tacony Street in Duluth, just west of Lake Superior, for a welfare check at about 2:10 p.m. Thursday and found two people dead at the home.
The victims, a 47-year-old woman, and a juvenile died from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
A suspect was identified, and officers set up a perimeter at his home on the 4400 block of West 6th Street, about a mile northeast of the initial shooting scene.
