$40M manufacturing facility coming to Niagara County
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A nearly 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility worth over $40 million is coming to Wheatfield.
Saint-Gobain Ceramics, through its subsidiary Saint-Gobain NorPro, expects to bring 30 new full-time jobs to the region when the facility — to be located on 6600 Walmore Road — is completed.
The company creates catalyst carriers for energy production and refining, as well as biofuels and chemical manufacturing. The new facility will be co-located with Special Grains and Powders operations, whose structures will be repurposed to reduce carbon emissions.
Construction is expected to begin later this year with completion expected by 2028.
