3 more candlelight concerts slated for Sacramento. Here’s where, when and how much it costs
Sacramento is hosting a new way to experience live music — one that entails thousands of glowing candles illuminating an iconic venue.
Candlelight Concerts, presented by ticketing service Fever, is bringing three more shows to the California State Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento.
The concerts feature live classical and pop music from professional singers, orchestras and band against a warm and intimate backdrop.
Here’s what to know about the next shows:
Valentine’s Day Special ft. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and More
7 p.m. and 9 p.m., Thursday and Saturday
Celebrate Valentine’s Day early with classic love songs such as My Heart Will Go On from the movie Titanic, Libertango by Astor Piazzolla and Fantasy Overture from Romeo and Juliet.
The remaining tickets for the shows start at $45 per person, but prices vary depending on date and seating arrangement.
Featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and More
7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Fri., March 17, 21 and 29, and Sat., July 29
Candlelight Concert’s next set of shows feature string quartet classics from Vivaldi and songs from Simon and Garfunkel, George Gershwin and Astor Piazzolla.
Tickets start at $35 per person.
A Tribute to Taylor Swift
7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sat., April 22, May 27 and Fri., June 23 and July 28
Fans can watch a string quartet version of Taylor Swift’s hits, such as Love Story, You Belong With Me and Blank Space.
Tickets start at $35, depending on the day and seats.
