1 hurt in fire at Amherst apartment complex
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person was hurt in a fire at an apartment complex in Amherst on Tuesday night, fire officials said.
Crews responded to the apartment complex, located at 334 Joe McCarthy Drive, just after 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. The fire began in the living room of the multi-family complex.
The fire was quickly put out and one person was transported to the hospital. Damages are estimated at a total of $125,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
