Zaya Wade shares inspiring message about authenticity: ‘Flawless is seeing your flaws less’
Zaya Wade is serving confidence in an ad campaign for Flawless by Gabrielle Union.
On Wednesday, the 13-year-old up-and-coming influencer shared several photos to her parent-run Instagram account rocking her fiery red curls and fierce model vibes. Wade tagged stepmom Union's haircare brand Flawless in the caption with the post seeming to be a photoshoot for the brand.
"Flawless is seeing your flaws less and living your most authentic life in celebration of YOU!" she wrote.
Wade's family and fans took to the comments to praise her for the "flawless" photos and the inspiring message.
Union used several heart emojis to express how much she loved the post.
"PG tapeline in full effect," brother Zaire added.
"SO GORGEOUS," one fan said.
"YES Caption!!!!!!!!!!!" a commenter continued.
Wade regularly shares stunning photos to her social media proving that she is well on her way to becoming a fashion icon. The teen, who came out as trans when she was 12, has also been open about the importance of being authentic no matter what.
In a recent virtual interview with Michelle Obama, the pair talked about the struggles of being a teen.
"At your age, or in the teenage years and probably through your 20s, you're gonna be experimenting with so many versions of yourself, right? All young people are trying on different versions, different voices, they're learning more about their intellect, they're learning about what they love, what they're good at, what they like. This is the period of exploration," Obama said.
