Young Eagles Aviation Day continues this weekend
LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Young Eagles Aviation Day continues tomorrow with free plane rides for kids ages 8-17, located at the Mason Jewett Airport on Eden Road near Kipp Road in Mason.
The event began in June and will continue Saturday, July 13, and again on August Kids 10. Kids within the age range will have their first plane ride free of charge, thanks to the local pilots in the area.
Young Eagles Aviation Day launched in 1992 and has dedicated more than 30 years to introducing and inspiring kids in the world of aviation.
Flights will be about 20 minutes long and kids must have a parent or guardian present to register.
