On Saturday, June 8, guests including Reed Krakoff, Beth DeWoody, and Mickalene Thomas were on hand to celebrate the 70th anniversary of The Glass House, the Philip Johnson-designed residence in New Canaan, Connecticut that today serves as a cultural center. The annual summer party featured a high-wire performance by Philippe Petit-who famously walked a tight rope between the Twin Towers in 1974-as well as a musical interlude from the Marching Cobras and picnic-style lunches for guests to enjoy around the stunning property. A silent auction, run by Paddle8, featured works by Josef Alberts, CIndy Sherman, Alex Katz, Claes Oldenburg, and more. The event raised more than $550,000 for the Glass House.
