While many have collectively expressed that 2020 has been a total let-down, Adele has used her time in quarantine to reflect on her life and hone in on the things that bring her joy. This achievement, alongside the Grammy Award-winning singer’s shocking body transformation, she credits to the words written by author Glennon Doyle in her self-help book “Untamed.”

Taking to Instagram on Friday, August 14, 2020, Adele revealed to her fans that Doyle’s book facilitated a shift in her outlook on life. She was so moved by the No. 1 New York Times best seller that she gushed that it will “shake your brain and make your soul scream.”
“I am so ready for myself after reading this book!” she captioned her Instagram post. “It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time. Whew!”
Sharing a bit of advice of what she learned from reading the popular part memoir, part self-help book, she added, “Anyone who has any kind of capacity to truly let go and give into yourself with any kind of desire to hold on for dear life — Do it. Read it. Live it. Practice it. We are a lot! But we are meant to be a lot!”
According to ABC News, “Untamed,” Doyle’s third memoir which debuted in March 2020, sees the author encourage women to “abandon the expectations set upon them by society in order to be their true ‘untamed’ selves.”
In the widely popular book, Doyle deeply touches on her journey to self-discovery after overcoming her divorce from her husband, his infidelities, exploring and navigating motherhood and, ultimately, finding love again with Olympic soccer star Abby Wambach whom she married in 2017.
Doyle credits “Untamed” as the pivotal moment in her career as a writer when she gained her freedom.
“I wrote my first two memoirs and I think that with those two, I was still trying to be a good girl, and with ‘Untamed’ [it] is really about how I became a free woman,” she told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America when the book was first released. “‘Untamed’ was about finding myself.”
The book is currently available in all formats — paperback, hardcover, audio CD, Audiobook and Kindle. However, only Kindle users get the book for 46 percent off its original retail price.
Right now, the Amazon Kindle and Amazon Kindle Paperwhite are both on sale and come with three months of free Kindle Unlimited: a monthly subscription service that gives users access to millions of titles across a slew of devices, most of which, like Doyle’s “Untamed,” are discounted for Kindle users.

Subscribers can cancel their service at any time with no risk of being charged.
