'Yellowstone' Actress Joins 'Unholy Trinity' Alongside Pierce Brosnan and Samuel L. Jackson
Q’orianka Kilcher
With Paramount's fan-favorite series Yellowstone coming to an end soon—minus star Kevin Costner who won't return for the final six episodes of Season 5B—the cast is busy lining up their next gigs.
Actress Q’orianka Kilcher, who plays no-holds-barred lawyer and business consultant Angela Blue Thunder, recently landed a prime role in Unholy Trinity, an upcoming Western starring Pierce Brosnan and Samuel L. Jackson.
The movie, based on a script by Lee Zachariah, takes place in 1870s Montana moments before the execution of Isaac Broadway for a crime he didn't commit.
Isaac implores his estranged son, Henry (Brandon Lessard) to murder the man who framed him. Intent on fulfilling this mission, Henry finds himself in the town of Trinity where a series of events leaves him caught between the new sheriff Gabriel Dove (Brosnan) and a mysterious figured named St. Christopher (Jackson).
Kilcher plays a character named Running Cub, but that's about all we know about her so far.
On Yellowstone, Kilcher had a multi-episode arc over several seasons as a business consultant to Broken Rock Reservation Chief Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham).

Kilcher began acting in her teens, garnering critical raves for her portrayal of Pocahontas opposite Colin Farrell and Christian Bale in the Terrence Malick film, The New World. A chameleon of an actress, she is almost unrecognizable in an episode of Longmire as Ayasha Roundstone, a developmentally challenged teen who is a victim of rape in a case Longmire is investigating. The Princess Kaiulani actress co-wrote and stars in the upcoming thriller, Yesteryear about a Native American actress who begins to psychologically unravel during the pandemic quarantine. The stellar Yesteryear cast also includes Scott Haze, Wes Studi and Nick Cassavetes. Production is completed, according to IMDB.
Unholy Trinity is currently in production under an Interim Agreement from SAG-AFTRA. The Western is being filmed at the Yellowstone Film Ranch (no relation to Taylor Sheridan's show) in Montana.
