This woman's engagement photo went viral for a hilarious reason

Engagement announcements are taken very seriously these days, and one woman took things to a new level to make sure her special moment was picture perfect.

At first glance there is nothing out of the ordinary in this engagement photo shared by a couple from Melbourne, Australia. But another image showing behind the scenes has gone viral, proving things aren’t quite what they seem.

It turns out the woman’s cousin offered her own hand to model the engagement ring for the photo because the bride-to-be didn’t have her nails done.

In a series of photos shared on Twitter, Jenna can be seen kneeling next to her cousin and her boyfriend with her manicured hand in front of them. Jenna went on to explain that her cousin, Diana, is a nurse and never has her nails done, but she wanted the photo to be perfect.

Jenna’s Twitter thread also explained that the proposal was a surprise, so Diana’s fiancé couldn’t exactly tell her to get her nails done beforehand. He had convinced her that they were going to a celebration for his parents’ wedding anniversary.

The post caught people’s attention, and some admitted the swap was so well done that they didn’t notice anything until they had a second look at the images.
