Woman Shares Important Reminder After Rescuing Lost Cat From Tree
The cat was dehydrated and suffering from frostbite.
Devito is one lucky feline. He went from dehydrated and frostbitten at the top of a tree to resting comfortably in a loving foster home, and it's all thanks to @lnljs_clubhouse. This incredible animal rescuer was on a dog walk when she spotted the chilly boy and knew something was amiss.
Though it took a little time for the rescued feline to warm up, he was more than willing to come with his new friend. Now, she's sharing the story of the rescue on her TikTok account, and viewers are so moved.

We're so glad this sweet guy is okay! He didn't seem ready or able to cope with the low temperatures, which means his rescuer came just in the nick of time.
"People don’t realize that just because an animal has fur, it doesn’t mean they can’t get cold," commenter @brirocksphayce. "Thank you for helping this baby." He seems so grateful for the help! The difference between the way he slept in the tree and the way he slept on the chair is astounding.
"He definitely was a house cat before" agreed @gingerandlying. No wonder he warmed up to his rescuer so quickly! From his vocalization to his comfort around humans, all signs point to an indoor life for this furry guy. @Juliehpeglegs noticed that he's "such a talky boy! He was telling you all about how he got up there!" Wasn't it just the sweetest thing?
We're so relieved and thrilled that this little guy is in a loving home, but we felt even better once we saw this update from @lnljs_clubhouse.

He's going to have a forever home! Aside from the frostbite on his ears, this cat's story is going to have a pretty happy ending.
