Woman Makes Urgent Plea to Help Get Sad Shelter Dog Adopted in 2023
This precious girl deserves her forever home.
Foona Lagoona is one precious shelter dog who's waiting for her forever home at @heidisvillageaz. Not only has she been there for nearly a year now, but she's captured the hearts of the staff and volunteers who meet her. Animal adoption advocate @hannah.humane made a video to give this sweet girl the spotlight she deserves, and now she's making fans on TikTok, too.
If you're anything like us, you'll be enchanted by this pup's beautiful brown eyes--and maybe you'll even feel compelled to meet her. Foona lives in the Phoenix area, but there are dogs across the nation who are in similar positions, too.

Aww, poor girl! Our hearts are shattering just seeing her alone in her kennel, but we know Hannah and so many others are helping her find her fur-ever home.
"Come on Arizona bring this sweet baby a forever home," wrote @anaboat. Exactly! With enough views, we're sure this pretty girl will catch the eye of someone local who's looking to adopt. It seems like there are so many commenters who love her--but are too far away to come meet her.
"If I lived near there I would take her in an instant," said @ghost_raven_3. You're certainly not alone! Foona's gorgeous eyes could reach into anyone's soul, but we'll keep holding out hope that her perfect owner is just around the corner. Still, Hannah's response is positively golden: "There are dogs just like her that need homes near you!" That's just one more reason why you should #AdoptNotShop!
