Why Savannah Chrisley No Longer Speaks to Siblings Lindsie and Kyle

Savannah Chrisley shed new light on the estranged relationship she has with two of her siblings, Lindsie and Kyle Chrisley.
While speaking with Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green for the latest episode of the pair's Old-ish podcast, the 26-year-old reality TV star admitted that there had been a lot of "anger, resentment, and jealousy" between them even before parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, began their prison sentences.
"My two oldest siblings are from my dad’s first marriage," Savannah explained. "Over the years, I feel like there’s been a lot of anger and resentment just over the fact that my parents were together [and] theirs weren’t."
"Then when the show [Chrisley Knows Best] came about, I feel like there was jealousy," she shared. "There was a whole bunch of things that were involved."
Savannah continued, suggesting that her relationship with Lindsie and Kyle only worsened after her parents' indictment and Savannah became the full-time caregiver for her 17-year-old brother Grayson and 10-year-old niece Chloe–the daughter of her half-brother Kyle–whom her parents have had custody of since infancy.
"The oldest two were also involved in my parents’ criminal case…they worked with the government," she said. "There is a lot of proof to show that."
"And so, at that point, I’m done," Savannah added. "My loyalty is to my parents and to the people who have always been there for me and loved me and showed up for me. They’re not in the picture at all."
"Just because you’re family doesn’t mean I have to be the punching bag or I have to take unhealthy behavior just because we’re blood-related," she shared. "I’m a firm believer that I have friends who have been better family to me than some of my own family members. At the end of the day, the hurt didn’t start with me, but it can stop with me."
While it sounds like Savannah is pretty set on her decision to keep her estranged relatives at a distance, Lindsie described being open to reconciliation during a recent appearance on The Southern Tea podcast.
"If she wanted to handle the situation privately, I would be in agreement to do that because again, I never spoke first, I never said anything," Lindsie said. "I kind of took the blame for certain things that I shouldn't have taken the blame for publicly. I took that on on this podcast myself just for it to go away and for there to be peace."
