Why Jana Kramer's First Baby Moon With Cheating Ex Left a 'Negative Taste'

Jana Kramer isn't too sure about having another baby moon.

The "Let It Burn" singer—who is currently expecting her third child, her first with fiancé Allan Russell—recently explained why she isn't too keen on having another baby moon again, after her first one didn't go too well.

Kramer previously welcomed her first two children, Jolie, 7, and Jace, 4, with former husband Mike Caussin, but now that she's expecting baby number three, she admits that a baby moon isn't totally appealing to her anymore.

"We were thinking about doing a baby moon in October but there’s just so much going on that I’m like, I don’t even know if I have time," she said on the Monday, Aug. 28 episode of her Whine Down podcast.

She went on to say she has a bit of a "negative taste" in her mouth following her first baby moon, which was seemingly ruined by one of Caussin's multiple cheating scandals.

"One of the things he told me happened a week before our baby moon in L.A., which I thought was, like, the most magical trip we had," she explained in an apparent reference to Caussin stepping out on her. "We went to the Montage and Laguna Beach, and I’m like, 'Wait, a week before, you were x, y and z?' Like, I don’t know, it kind of tainted [it]."

When she had her second child, the One Tree Hill alum said she "didn't really" have a baby moon because she was "so scorned" by the name.

"I was like, 'Let's not call it [a baby moon]'" she recalled, noting that they just went to a pool instead of traveling or going on a full-on vacation.

While she definitely seemed to be disenchanted with the whole baby moon idea, Kramer admitted, "a piece of me is like, 'Do I want a do-over?'"

Who knows—maybe Russell can change the meaning of a baby moon for Kramer for good this time around!
