Wendy’s New Birthday Cake Frosty Is a Must-Try Treat

Once upon a time, on November 15, 1969, Wendy’s Old-Fashioned Hamburgers was born and fast food (...and fast food Twitter) as we know it was never the same. Now, in honor of 50 years in business, the chain is offering some limited-edition birthday treats to get you in the celebrating mood. Starting this week, you can get your hands on a Birthday Cake Frosty and a Birthday Cake Frosty Cookie Sundae and they both sound amazing.
Let's start off with the Birthday Cake Frosty. It might look like your typical vanilla Frosty, but it's hiding a very delicious secret. It's actually a vanilla Frosty mixed with birthday cake flavor to create an even sweeter and more delicious treat. It's also the only other flavor besides chocolate and vanilla currently available.
Next up is the Birthday Cake Frosty Cookie Sundae. It's a vanilla and birthday cake Frosty topped with sugar cookie pieces and sprinkles to create a very adorable and very festive treat. Think of it like your typical Cookie Frosty Sundae with a party hat on.
You can pick up both of these for a limited-time at participating Wendy's stores. The Frosty will run you about $1.49 and the Birthday Cake Frosty Cookie Sundae is about $2.19, depending on which location you're visiting.
If you live in Florida, you can get a free Jr. Birthday Cake Frosty at participating Wendy's locations in Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Myers, FL on Friday, according to a release. You'll have to keep your eyes peeled to see if the chain will have any additional birthday surprises.
