Food has been a BIG topic of conversation on this season of Bachelor in Paradise—what will JPJ throw up next? Should you eat the date food? Where did all the chicken nuggets go? Less talked about this time around was alcohol. Thankfully, Wells Adams, the bartender everyone knows and loves despite getting very little screen time this season (@ABC, fix this!), has been answering all our questions.

In an interview with Men's Health, Wells answered a key question: What is in those mysterious blue-tinted glasses? The most-requested drinks, he says, change throughout the season. At the beginning, it's a lot of margaritas, daiquiris, and pi?a coladas. And of course, "At some point, a lot of tequila shots," he says. But eventually, people get tired of the sugary drinks and switch over to tequila sodas. Sounds about right.

When asked if anyone drinks beer, he answered in a predictable but hilarious way: "No one drinks beer because everyone is terrified of carbs. The only people that drank beer were [Chris] Bukowski and...me, probably." If you were to guess the one guy on the beach who drinks beer, it would without a doubt be Gerard Butler Bukowski.

If you were wondering how Wells got the bartender gig in the first place, he (kind of) discussed that topic with Derek Peth on a recent episode of his podcast, Your Favorite Thing With Wells & Brandi. As Derek tells it, on JoJo's season of The Bachelorette, where Derek and Wells met, Wells was the bartender from the get-go. On the second night of filming, he offered to make the guys Old Fashioned's, despite many of them not knowing what that drink contained, lol.

From there, he instituted a rule that whoever got a rose before the rose ceremony had to get wasted. For those not versed in the Bachelor/Bachelorette world, if you get a date rose pre-ceremony, you're basically chilling for the rest of the week. In a cell phone/tv-less world that ihe perfect time to get drunk! They trail off from there, but presumably, that was how producers were aware he could actually make drinks, which led him to being hired as the advice giver/bartender on several seasons of Paradise. The more you know!
