The Weeknd scrubs Selena Gomez from his social media account
Remember when we broke down Selena Gomez, the Weeknd, Justin Bieber, and Bella Hadid‘s confusing social media habits? Well, there’s been a major update. The “Starboy” crooner has now wiped away all signs of Gomez from his Instagram.
The Weeknd (real name: Abel Tesfaye) quietly unfollowed his ex-girlfriend sometime in the last few days and erased photos of the two of them off his account. The move comes after Gomez stopped following him last week; however — at least as of now — she still has photos of him on her feed.

The Weeknd, 27, and Gomez, 25, broke things off in October after 10 months of dating. Within days (hours?), she was back together with Justin Bieber. The Weeknd hasn’t exactly been lonely though, as he has been spotted hanging out with Hadid again and a few other women. While he’s enjoying the single life, Jelena is now taking a more low-key approach to their relationship.
According to E! News, Gomez and Bieber, 23, spent Thanksgiving apart, but are still giving their relationship another shot. “They both spent Thanksgiving with their families. Justin went to Canada and Selena was in Texas,” a source said. The source claimed, “They are still doing really well together, but they agreed it was best for them to be with their families for the holiday.”
The insider added, “Selena felt it was too soon for Justin to come to Texas with her. Her family is still getting comfortable with the idea of them back together.”
They apparently stayed in contact through Facetime while they were apart. “Justin says he hopes he can spend Christmas with her but knows that it will take a very long time for her family to accept him back in,” the insider alleged.
As for the Weeknd and Hadid, we’ll see if tonight’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, in which the model will be participating, speeds up any type of reunion on their end.
