The Wayback, Pigeon Forge's funky hotel, opens pool club to visitors over 21
No room? No problem. Everybody is now welcome to take a dip in the funkiest pool in Pigeon Forge. Well, almost everybody.
The Wayback, a groovy, 134-room hotel at 2760 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, is launching The Swim Club. It's a pool club for guests and locals with cocktails to boot and it costs nothing to get in. The caveats: You must be over 21 and it's only after 5 p.m.
Just in time for summer, the adults-only club will allow guests and locals to splash in the pool, soak in a hot tub, and have a few cocktails, such as the hotel's signature Pomegranate Paloma or the Summer Bourbon Smash.
There are no entrance fees for non-guests over 21 who want to take a dip after 5 p.m. You could also rent one of the four private cabanas if you want.
If you're a non-guest of any age and want to access the pool during the day, you'll have to rent a cabana.
For adult-only cabanas (21 and over) rates are:
Full-day, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. - $395
Morning, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. - $250
Evening, 5 p.m.-10 p.m. - $250
Families can reserve a half-day cabana session 10 a.m.-4 p.m. for $250.
Each cabana has a 55-inch TV, luxury lounging chairs, and drink and towel service.
A converted Airtstream bar serves up poolside cocktails. Don't worry, there will be some food options to pair with drinks, including tacos, nachos, salsas and elotes.
You can book a room at waybackhotel.com or by calling 865-428-7500.
Correction: An earlier version of this article included incorrect information provided by The Wayback about non-guest entries and cabana rates. Non-hotel guests 21 and older can visit the pool for free after 5 p.m., or by renting a cabana during the day. Half-day cabana sessions are $250, while full-day sessions are $395.
