Watch Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Recreate 'Moulin Rouge' and Sing "Your Song" Together
Nicole Kidman's character in Big Little Lies may be (thankfully) husband-free in the upcoming second season, but in real life, she and Keith Urban are still going strong.
Yesterday, Kidman posted a video on Instagram of "a little backstage moment before heading to Monterey" (Monterey, of course, referring to the beachside setting of Big Little Lies). Kidman and Urban are already dressed up for the premiere, but that doesn't stop them from taking a moment for a piano-side duet.
The couple sings Elton John's "Your Song," which Kidman memorably performed alongside Ewan McGregor in 2001's Moulin Rouge.
"Any other requests?" Kidman asks at the end-insinuating there is a small, but lucky audience enjoying the couple's tunes.
It's a big week for Kidman. Between fĂȘting Big Little Lies's long-awaited return and releasing the trailer for her upcoming film The Goldfinch, the actress's name has been all over the headlines.
And yet, she's still finding time for her family. She also recently shared a photo of herself hugging her children. "I am nothing without the love of my family," she wrote.
Fellow celebrities were quick to echo her sentiments. "Amen to that!" Glenn Close commented. Katie Couric, Lily Aldridge, and Michelle Pfeiffer all contributed heart emojis in various quantities and styles.
Close also took a moment to comment on Kidman's post from the Big Little Lies red carpet. "GO FABULOUS WOMEN!! You make us all proud as empowered," Close commented on the photo.
Indeed, it's hard to see the formidable line-up that is Reese Witherspoon, Zo? Kravitz, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley, Nicole Kidman, and Meryl Streep without feeling some feelings.
