Following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, the new documentary from Thom Zimny, Sly, has its first trailer.

For nearly 50 years Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, from Rocky to Rambo to The Expendables. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspirational underdog story with the indelible characters he has brought to life.

From just eight reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 100% critics score, described as "disarmingly open", with "great stories" about the icon's legacy.

The likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Quentin Tarantino appear in the inspirational trailer that charts decades of Stallone's rise to fame.

Sly will be available to stream on Netflix from November 3.
