Watch Big Wave Surfer Kai Lenny Get Eaten Alive By Enormous Wave at Jaws

Some of the best big wave surfers have taken some serious beatings lately thanks to the massive Black Friday swell that pummeled the North Shore and fueled Jaws on Maui.

On the North Shore, Koa Rothman surfed "terrifying" Pipeline. Koa Smith surfed big and beautiful Waimea Bay while Rothman, Eli Olson, Mark Healey, and Nathan Florence charged the North Shore's outer reefs.

Over on Maui, big wave hellman Kai Lenny continued to blow minds at Jaws and collected a couple more wipeouts to prove he really is human. He recently got swallowed whole in a giant barrel and and sucked over the falls after busting a flip at giant Jaws.

In the clip above he posted today, Lenny gets buried by an insanely massive wave and avalanche of white water.

He captioned it:

"First wave of the morning, before sunrise, faded just a bit too much, got some dirty lickens.

"The positive of this experience is I got it out of the way for the rest of the day, or so I thought. Keeping my water safety team engaged, thanks for coming into the pit @ridgelenny @ola_curnan @seadoo"

In the clip, Lenny takes off on an enormous right. He carves down the face and at the bottom, he gets stuck behind it and disappears into oblivion.

Drone footage shows him getting swooped up by a jet-ski that brings him to his board, which is pretty far away. He jump on it and quickly gets pushed inside, only to be picked up by another ski.

Somehow, the guy handles.

Just another day at the office.
