Watch Awesome New Footage of Nathan Florence and Crew Surfing the North Shore
Winter is here. Sure, North Shore guys have been saying that since John John Florence and Koa Rothman scored fun Rocky Point a few weeks ago.
But after last week's huge swell that had Kai Lenny surfing enormous Jaws, John John and Nathan Florence braving "huge and unruly" Pipeline as lifeguards saved 15 people, winter is now officially here.
Lucky for the rest of the world, an abundance of big wave footage has been emerging from Hawaii with some of the world's best surfers getting some of the world's best waves. Now here we go again thanks to Nathan Florence's latest vlog.
Florence captioned the edit above:
"Winter has arrived in Hawaii"
His latest vlog is about 10 minutes of great surfing and some artsy, beautiful opening sunset footage of perfect Pipeline.

"Absolutely the heaviest of vibes intro. Pure Bliss!"
"Nate’s surfing has gotten noticeably sharper, and more fluid since the slab tour."
"Absolutely Stunning! Zoard filming the opening? Give him a raise!!"
"Breathtaking photography in that first half. The surfing sequences in the second half were a pleasure as well."
"Epic intro! I am pretty sure that Pipe at sunset is where they came up with the term "in the green room". And good old Rocky Point, I haven't surfed there since the early eighties, was my favorite break when I lived on the north shore."
"Don't know how you guys even paddle out when its that big - in So Cal I had a tough time getting out in 6 ft surf (took me 25 mins lol - it was really firing with no break) but was totally worth the effort."
