Wanted Louisiana woman comments on mugshot cops posted: 'That picture ugly'
A wanted Louisiana woman seemed more concerned about how she looked in her mugshot than about the police, when she boldly commented on their Facebook post last month.
On June 12, St. Martin Parish deputies wrote that they were looking for Precious Landry, who was wanted for attempted second-degree murder.
Landry, who apparently caught wind of the post, was dismayed that authorities had posted an unflattering photo of her and made sure they knew.
"That picture ugly," she wrote in response.
Police took notice and replied with a playful suggestion.
"Precious Landry you are always welcome to head over to the Sheriff's Office and take a new picture if you want!" they wrote. "Or you can just wait to take it when someone turns you in to collect on the $1,000 reward!"
Fortunately, Landry made things easier for law enforcement by turning herself in that same day. Facebook users, however, had a ball at her expense.
As of Friday, the police's post has been liked more than 1,000 times and received over 8,000 comments.
"She was last seen on the corner of Facebook and messenger," one person joked.
"Precious they know they could’ve used ya pic from when i did yo hair that time," another wrote. "They dead the (expletive) wrong homegirl. But anyway. She ain’t pay me back for the last 2 hairstyles so, I’m fina call her n do her hair AGAIN tomorrow. I’m fina inbox y’all my address come in ah unmarked car she won’t even know it."
