A Virtual ‘Desperate Housewives’ Reunion Is Happening, People
Get ready to say hello to the ladies of Wisteria Lane once again because the Desperate Housewives cast is reuniting for a very important reason.
In order to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts via The Actor’s Fund, the cast of the erstwhile ABC hit drama is coming together for the first time in forever (like, 2012) on a live-stream episode of Stars in the House.
On Sunday, April 12, Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis), Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp), Vanessa Williams (Renee Perry), Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young) and Dana Delaney (Katherine Mayfair) will all come together to talk about the series that captivated audiences for eight seasons. Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) and Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) will unfortunately not be joining, but it’ll still be loads of fun.
In case you need a refresher, the Marc Cherry-produced series offered a glimpse into the lives of well-off families in suburban America. Although they seemed pristine on the surface, each character had a shady past of infidelity, deceit, blackmail and even murder. Talk about complicated.
Stars in the House hosts Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley will also virtually welcome stars of the shows Barry, Jessie and Young Sheldon to benefit The Actor’s Fund this weekend, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
Tune in to watch the reunion on Sunday, April 12, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on the Stars in the House website. Honestly, now that we have the time, we might just binge the series all over again. It’s available to stream on Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play and Vudu, so why not?
