Viral Video Shows 20 College Students Dressed Identically
School is officially back in session at college campuses across the country, and it already appears as though college students are still steadfast in their resolve to dress pretty much identically to one another.
To prove this point is a now-viral video taken at what appears to be a University of Alabama fraternity or sorority house, which displays a line of 20 young men entering through the front door, all wearing some combination of khaki shorts, primarily pastel-colored or striped polo shirts, and even similar tousled hairstyles. In fact, the main differentiating factor is that about half opted for a belted look, while the others went untucked.
Naturally, the soundtrack to the video is "I'm Just Ken," as sung by Ryan Gosling in the Barbie movie that swept through theaters this summer.
"The way people dress at SEC [Southeastern Conference] schools is something else," wrote a University of Michigan alum on the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Within days, the video had already racked up nearly 30 million page views and counting.
"Not saying it’s bad just very different from Big Ten schools," he pointed out in a follow-up tweet, noting that his alma mater isn't exactly safe from ridicule, either.

The original video comes from the TikTok account of University of Alabama pledge Sophie Reich, who all-caps quipped "WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN OUR BARBIE DREAMHOUSE?!" in her own post, which has likewise so far amassed a modest one million views.
Unfortunately, it would appear that the residence is a Mojo Dojo Casa House now—although cowboy attire might honestly be an upgrade.
